Welcome to Coverse. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Coverse governing your access to and use of the Coverse platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered.

By creating an account or using Coverse, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Coverse.

Eligibility

To use Coverse, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law
  • Not have been previously banned from Coverse

By using Coverse, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If you are using Coverse on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your Account

Account Registration

Coverse is an invite-only platform. To create an account, you must receive approval through our access request process. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Not share your login credentials with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Log out from shared devices

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

User Content

Your Content

"User Content" includes any text, images, photos, comments, messages, and other materials you post, upload, or share on Coverse. You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant us certain rights as described below.

License Grant

By posting User Content, you grant Coverse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Coverse service.

This license is limited to what's necessary to run the platform—displaying your posts to other members, storing your content, and similar operational needs. We will never sell your content or use it for advertising.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to use and share the content
  • Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
  • Your content complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • •Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • •Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • •Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation
  • •Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Coverse systems or other users' accounts
  • •Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from Coverse
  • •Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers
  • •Spam, solicit, or advertise without permission
  • •Share other users' private information without consent
  • •Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures

Intellectual Property

Coverse Property

The Coverse platform, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without permission.

Copyright Infringement

We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on Coverse infringes your copyright, please report it to us with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief

Disclaimers

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY AS IT LIMITS OUR LIABILITY.

COVERSE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We are not responsible for:

  • User Content posted by members
  • Accuracy of information shared by users
  • Third-party websites or services linked from Coverse
  • Loss of data due to technical issues
  • Any damages arising from your use of the platform

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COVERSE AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coverse and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of Coverse
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or via email. Your continued use of Coverse after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Coverse immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use Coverse ceases immediately
  • We may delete your account and User Content
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Coverse.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor.
